3M Western Distribution Center

RGA provided full design and construction document services for 3M's new West Coast Distribution Facility to replace their existing facility on the same site.  Trammell Crow hired RGA as part of their two building, 909,000 sf square foot Ontario Innovation Centre project.  The new 456,000 sf 3M facility includes 14,000 sf of office space and is currently set up to function as a single loaded building to fit 3M's needs with 68 dock positions.  The building was designed to be easily converted to a cross-dock facility with 116 dock doors if 3M's shipping needs outgrow the current design.  RGA lead the coordination efforts for all of 3M's MHE and racking installations throughout the building.  Fullmer Construction completed the 3M building in 2015.  The second building in the Innovation Centre campus was completed in 2016 and immediately occupied by Home Depot.
